As first-time home buyers, figuring out how to finance your first home is always nerve wracking. David is incredibly knowledgeable and thorough with his attention to detail. He also found us the best rates and advised us on the market trends and when to lock it in. He is extremely communicative and strove to make our entire process so smooth. If you're looking to buy a home, you need to call David Kutner. I was looking to buy my first house a few months ago and David was extraordinarily kind helpful, and knowledgeable. He took the time to walk me through the process, answering every question I had with care and concision.

Buying a home is a daunting task, but David made me feel very well taken care-of. I thought that buying a home would be incredibly stressful, but working with David made the experience very manageable. He is extremely prompt and *really* knows the business, which made the process of getting a mortgage go super smoothly. He got me a reasonable rate and even took the time to advise on the best time to lock it in. He checks in frequently, is always quick to respond, and his advice is excellent. I really felt that he had my best interests in mind through the entire process, which really put me at ease. His honesty, kindness and expertise made the loan portion of buying the home the easiest part!

Additionally, David's extended professional network is excellent - he recommended a great agent at the start of my search, and also had great recommendations for all the other things you'll need as you close: insurance, etc.

David was referred to me by another person in the banking industry who thought he could better serve my (actually my mothers financial needs). This proved to be true...Mr. Kutner was both professional and friendly, and my mother was pleased with his mild demeanor and willingness to be available to answer any questions she may have had, and to stay on board for any future questions or needs. David and I worked together to get her transaction completed in a reasonable amount of time, and, in this day and age of faceless business transactions, the personal touch of coming to the house to meet his client was a welcome effort to my mother. David Kutner has successfully helped us twice with our loans: one was for a refinance on an investment property and another was an investment loan on a property purchase. My sister recently went through the loan process for her first home with David too. David always followed up and kept us up to date on the status of our loans. When we encountered hurdles along the way David offered his professional advice and opinion on what he thinks is best for us. In the end, we were able to overcome the hurdles and successfully close on the property we wanted. He always took the time to explain and clarify questions we had. Demonstrating professionalism and honesty rarely seen today, David recommended I use another lender because they could give me a better rate on my loan.  I don’t write many reviews, but I wanted to let everyone know how wonderful David is to work with.  My wife and I began looking to buy a home and I asked around to see if anyone I knew had any suggestions for a loan broker.  David Kutner was immediately recommended by one of my coworkers, who said that he and his mother-in-law had used him and were exceedingly satisfied with his work.

I don’t know if you know how profoundly difficult it has been in 2021 to buy a home, but David was very encouraging and accommodating throughout the process.  He wrote proof of funds letters for us when we put offers in on houses.  When we finally got an offer accepted, David started the necessary paperwork.  My wife and I shopped around to see what rate we could get and found a lender that appeared to offer a better rate than what David could get us.  I contacted David and asked him if it was at all possible that he could match the rate.  David instructed me to send him the paperwork so he could look over the other lender’s paperwork to determine if everything looked legitimate.  David promptly called me back and informed me that he thought we should go with the other lender as he was unable to match the other lender’s rate.  If you want a diligent, helpful, honest, and friendly mortgage broker, you should call David Kutner.  I will definitely be calling him for my future loan needs. Working with David Kutner was amazing. I was a first time homebuyer and had never been through the process before, but David helped me through the entire process and was there for me if I ever had any questions.

I had been working with two separate lenders previously to try to get a loan for my first house, and both either wouldn't or couldn't meet my needs. I was referred to David by my real estate agent, and David not only was much more of a pleasure to work with, but he was also able to cut my closing costs in half and he got my monthly payments a couple hundred dollars lower than the previous lenders. He really worked his magic and I am so grateful that he did.

Even though he is based in southern California, the home I purchased was in northern California,  so if you aren't in his immediate area, still give David a try. You will not regret it.

I have been referring ALL of my friends and family to him since I was so happy with the results of my loan and the care David took in making sure I was getting a good deal.

David is an excellent mortgage broker! Because of him and his team, I have successfully refinanced which is now translating into significant monthly savings. I absolutely recommend David to anyone with total confidence -- he got me the lowest rates/costs of anyone after interviewing about 7-8 other broker/lenders; he is extremely good at explaining difficult concepts and provides honest answers; he is transparent about one's options and gives a balanced rational analysis; his transaction team is very good and reliable; and he is very responsive -- he was always available to speak whenever I called with questions.  I think David is a great match for clients who may be more detail-oriented, who ask questions, and who seek articulate explanations for why something is the way it is. Not only did I get a great refinance done but I also learned quite a bit about the mortgage process and how it works because of him. Thanks David and team! Hire David!  He handled our loan process amazingly.  Not only was he extremely good at communicating to my husband and I about the loan process, things to expect, etc., he also made the process less stressful.  Who thought that was even possible?!  We're so glad we went with David.  You definitely get what you pay for.  He offers superb service, is very knowledgeable about what he does, and goes the extra mile to make sure you truly understand the process and are comfortable.  He is also very responsive.  Every time we needed an offer letter (and it was pretty of often), the turnaround process between requesting and receiving it from David was usually within a day or so.  When you're putting an offer on a home, sometimes you need to get the offer in ASAP and David always got us our offer letter when we needed it or sooner.

He also has a real estate license so he's familiar with the other side of the home purchase as well.  This was helpful and he offered insight on what to expect from the other end during our home purchasing process.  David truly cares about his clients and we truly felt that.  Our loan process went smoothly and both our agent and the seller's agent commented on how great David was as well.
